Accident Investigation - MECC Consulting's staff is experienced in all aspects of accident investigation, report writing, evidence retrieval and storage, testing, and expert witness testimony.

Expert Witness - MECC Consulting's Principal, Dr. Joel Hebert, has testified at deposition or trial approximately 150 times.  Past case files have addressed personal injury, product liability, mechanical failures, design analysis, fires and explosions, premises liability, human factors, and ergonomics.

Mechanical Safety - This encompasses the safety characteristics of the man-machine-environment triad, including design, manufacture, operation and maintenance.  MECC Consulting addresses primarily the Mechanical Engineering issues, but accidents by their very nature are multidisciplinary; our experience and background also allow us to address safety and design issues involving Electrical, Chemical and Civil Engineering.

Failure Analysis - Determination of how and why failures occur in systems.  A strong background in multidisciplinary design of machinery, oil field equipment, and refinery and petrochemical equipment gives MECC Consulting the ability to investigate mechanical failures both on site and within testing labs to determine cause.
